Author of three books; Life Is Full Of Surprises, The Origin of Deanna Dorak and Aneesha's Prophecy, Darlene is currently working on her next book. It's working title is Freedom Abdicated Freedom Lost.

Ms. Duncan suffered two bouts of temporary insanity. The first was when she moved to Texas and the next occurred years later when she moved to Washington State. Texas was a landlocked torture chamber of good old boys. Washington wasn't landlocked instead it was a land of doom and gloom where the sun seldom peeked out of the clouds. Ah yes, the things we do for love. She recovered from both of these lapses and returned to her hometown of Daytona Beach where the sun and the smell of the sea fill the air. She lives with her partner of 16 plus years and their two cats, Azazel and Ares.

Darlene grew up painfully shy but has realized if she's going to be successful as an author she has to get over it and talk to people. Toward that end she joined Toastmasters and has achieved her Competent Toastmaster Certificate.

She is also a member of Promoting Outstanding Writers (POW), the Small Publishers Association of North America (SPAN) and a lifetime member Writer's Village University (WVU).
